I've read Catherine Ryan Howard before and really liked her writing style so I jumped at the chance to read this book. The concept was really interesting, a book within a book, and seeing things from the killer's perspective.
I wasn't sure about it at first, I wondered whether it would be interesting enough to keep my attention if we already knew who the killer was. And it seemed so far fetched that he wasn't caught.
But soon I got lost in Eve's story and couldn't stop turning the pages. Just like Jim was stealing time away to read Eve's book, I found myself gripped, needing to know what was going to happen. Would Jim be caught or will he remain The Nothing Man?
All in all I give this a 4.5*, a must read if you want something a bit different to the usual thrillers.
