Thank you so much to Readers First and the publisher for giving me the chance to review an early copy. The author is new to me but I am very much looking forward to reading her previous books.
The Nothing Man is the name of the book written by Eve Black, who was the only survivor, aged 12, of an attack by The Nothing Man which killed both her parents and younger sister.
Following the attack, Eve goes to live with her Nannie, who tells her that she must always use her full first name of Evelyn, and changes her surname in the hope that The Nothing Man won’t track her down.
The book is told from both Eve’s and The Nothing Man’s perspectives. Eve recounts other attacks by The Nothing Man throughout her book which is then interspersed with the modern day as The Nothing Man reads and reacts to it.
I found it compelling and addictive, very well plotted. When I read the first read of this, I was desperate to read more and the book definitely did not disappoint.
