This book differs from many murder mysteries as from the very start we know who the serial killer is. Jim Doyle is a security guard in a shopping centre. He is very dissatisfied with his life and considers himself superior to everyone else. He is shocked one morning when he finds a new book widely displayed in the store called The Nothing Man the name he'd been known as in the press as nothing was know about him. The book was written by Eve Black who was the only survivor when he'd murdered her family twenty years before. The story is told through her book and also through Doyle's version of events. Eve is determined to try to find the killer and hopes that writing the book will bring fresh evidence to help the investigation. I would really recommend this book. It's well written and there's plenty of twists in the plot to keep the reader interested.
