What an amazing idea, a book within a book! Gripped from the first paragraph. Loved the contrast of the two different writing styles. I like the realism of including a title pages, publication pages and dedications, I could picture Jim turning the pages. A beautifully designed cover caught my eye easily, it seems to reflect the intrigue of Jim in what the book will contain and the emotional pain of Eve as she tells her horrific tale. The descriptions of what happened to Eve's family, although brief, an introduction, gave me chills. A story that see,s to hold intrigue, trauma, danger, fear and an emotional history for both characters. There really are 2 sides to every story and I'm instantly drawn in to hear more of both!
