For me, one of the stand out things for a thriller is that I don't want to put it down and this book had all of the ingredients for that. It was creepy, the atmosphere felt close and like at any minute our protaganist was either going to solve the issue or get caught by the killer and I was racing through this pacey thriller until the very last page.
Our protaganist is the sole survivor of a serial killer and years on she is investigating. Our killer however is reading her book and he needs to know what she knows to protect himself.
This was very nearly a 5 star for me, but some of the plot points near then end of the book, were just a bit unrealistic and just put in to explain away some bits that couldn't be explained away.
All in all though I think this was a really solid thriller and I would recommend it to anyone who likes thrillers! Looking out for more from the author!
