Jim is a security guard at the local shopping centre. On seeing a customer drop a book on the floor the title catches his eye and whisks him back to his past. Jim purchases a copy of the newly released book The Nothing Man about a serial killer whose identity is unknown, a book only he knows is about himself. Eve Black is the only survivor from her family when the nothing man enters her life and leaves no evidence. Eve sets out to write a book about all the victims as a way of catching the killer. This is the book that we read over Jim's shoulder while following his every move and thought. This is a style of storytelling I haven't read before. It was original and gripping I couldn't put it down.
