From what I read of the first look I can already tell I'm not keen on the style of the writing, it's very short clipped and to the point. A lot of it is just telling me what Jim did, not actually showing how he did it. I'm unsure if I liked it.
From the first 20 or so pages not so much information was given, it didn't really draw me in or peek my interest.
I did like the list of victims, the names, destinations etc, that was a great little addition and very unique, I haven't seen that in any books yet. So that aspect is very original.
Overall, I don't think I'd pick this up or buy it if I saw it in a shop although the cover art is pretty eye catching as is the main reason why I wanted to take a first look.
