One of the best thrillers I have read this year

This is an incredibly unique and clever thriller. I waited a really long time for this release and was not disappointed! The story includes a book within a book, and it is brilliant to see the killer reading Eve’s perspective on his crimes. It gives the relevant history in a seamless way, keeping you engaged as the past crimes are explained. You find yourself desperate to switch from Jim’s perspective to Eve’s and vice versa, to see their version of events and their feelings on these. I love how you can feel Jim’s panic rising as he reads on – you can feel him losing his grip on his control. Overall, this was one of the best thrillers I have read this year. Incredibly clever and gripping from the first page to the last.
