I really really enjoyed this book. I knew from originally reading the 'First Look' that this would be my kind of book, however, The Nothing Man is such an innovative way of writing a thriller novel, that I loved it much more than I expected to! Writing from both Jim, the murderer's, side of the story, as well as including writing from Eve's (the survivor) book on the events, gave such a new twist to the standard murder books. I really loved switching between the two main characters, and was kept on my toes as Jim read through Eve's own story of the events, willing him to be caught out at any moment. I was also kept wondering throughout the book whether his wife, Noreen, would be any the wiser to his past, and how he got away with it for so long. The ending did not disappoint, and was rooting for Eve the whole way. I would definitely recommend this book to others, and think it will be very popular on publication day!
