What I wrote in my first impressions was "I found that the opening was quite strange until I realized what the plot was about. The more I read the more I wanted to read and was disappointed when the extract came to the end".

I was fortunate to be able to borrow the book electronically from my library and was glad I did. I was impressed with the character traits of each of the main characters. It wasn't until the end that all along a trap was being set. The story line kept twisting one way and then another and made it a very interesting read. although I did find that no clues being left at the scene was probably a bit far fetched as it is unlikely to occur. I was impressed with the detail laid out and the descriptive passages.

Not having read any of her books before I will now probably read a few more. They are all available electronically, my preferred medium, from my library.
