Wow!

I loved this book! The structure of it was so unique and made it even more hooking and intense. Eve has written a book about the man who murdered her family in hope to find out who was behind it, and you are essentially reading Eve's memoir, the alternate chapters are from Jim's perspective who is reading the book and trying to figure out how much Eve actually knows from what she has written. It was such an interesting way to write a book and it worked really well!! It was so intense as it felt like we were reading the book with Jim and there were so many chapter endings that made me feel like I was on the edge of my seat!!! I couldn't wait to find out what happened next, will Jim be caught or not, whether Jim was planning anything. Jim was such a chilling character, he was so unpredictable I just had no idea what was going to happen next after each chapter!!
If you are looking for a gripping, chilling thriller with an original narrative this is definitely a go to!!
The only thing I would say is I would have maybe liked for it to get a little more intense in certain places!
