The cover of this debut is what grabbed my attention at first. An Assassin style character on the front of a bright red colour screamed action and made me want to read the synopsis. I have to admit the title of the novel “The Nursery” did throw me off guard, but still I was intrigued.
The synopsis, albeit interesting, didn’t quite grab my attention enough and as such I didn’t write my first impression.
Today I came back to read the first look/sneak peak of this novel, and I am so glad I did. The prologue, and first two chapters were simply not enough! I wanted more, I need more!
This looks to be a cracking storyline and I really want to know more about the functioning of Platform 8, who the snake is, and more about the dark social based recruitment agency.
So far this is shaping up to be one of those novels that every crime, mystery, thriller lover should read!
