Interesting take on the spy novel
This book seems to eschew the traditional female spy trope, whilst still featuring some clichés of the typical double life. I really enjoyed the description that went into both the settings and the characters, which made it easy to begin to care about them. I felt Lex's descriptions of the worries of parenting were very accurate and framed well within the double life narrative. There was a lot of character development very quickly and the case seems intriguing, so I would like to read more.
