Reading the synopsis I decided I would probably like this book. The idea of a woman tackling a full time job (supposedly a kick a** one by the sounds of it) and motherhood, what 21st Century female wouldn’t want to know how it works out?
The job seemed exciting but all too quickly changed to her picking her child up from Nursery. I wasn’t too sure how that happened and had to re-read parts to make sure I hadn’t in fact got it wrong.
It seems a bit of a slow burner personally but it wouldn’t stop me finishing the book because despite my trepidation I actually still want to know if she juggles everything society expects women to manage these days and if it challenges any gender stereotypes like I originally thought it would do.
