Having loved Asia Mackay's first novel I was eager to get my hands on this one.
I have to admit I was not disappointed with the First Impression at all. Lex still has the same level of snark, a decidedly wobbly moral compass and the collywobbles about raising a child. All told at a relentless pace that leaves you breathless and turning pages as fast as you possibly can.
Throw in another sinister plot and some new personalities and it looks like being another rocky few months for Platform 8. I can hardly wait!
