A good opening chapter where we get the contrast of Lex' life as a secret agent (or rat as she refers to herself) and her home life as a mum to a 2 year old girl. When your work life is so far appart from motherhood and its expectations, will it ever really work out fine? When you trying your best to stay alive at work, and your husbands' biggest problem is his dry cleaning.... its got to end in tears right?
I do like how this story has started, but the bits where they are talking all technical about the lockdown their unit is in etc I did get a bit lost.
The cover is great, and the title intrugues me! I sense theres a lot more to this book than what meets the eye at first impression.
