The Work Life Balance of a Successful Mother can be sole destroying

The working mother is filled with guilt constantly. The more successful you are the harder the struggle to balance becomes. It is hard to feel proud of your achievements when you have little ones at home wondering why only daddy can go to the school assembly or take them to the dentist. And then there is the resentment from your husband, he says he's proud of you and doesn't mind holding the fort at home while you work. Deep down you know he wishes the work life balance was equally split.
I can remember the quilt I felt when my youngest was born and I went to university. I have the daily struggle and guilt while I progress in my legal career.
I can totally relate to the characters in this novel and would welcome the opportunity to read it first. I would leave a review once I had finished.
