This book has come as one hugely unexpected love for Asia Mackay and spy thriller genre.
The nursery is not my go to kind of book so I am really grateful to have gained a copy of this. I loved the link to normal life, wife and mum, and the pressures that come with that. The pressures Lex dealt with daily of school run, where is the best school, am I doing okay at being a wife, is my cleaning done, does my husband have enough clean pants, does my daughter have friends, why doesnt she have friends is that my fault? But then come the abnormal spy pressures, is her teacher really a teacher, would I be better off and more in love with a spy who is earning billions in killing other people behind my back? Well i tell you know Asia had be gripped from start to finish, I was so excited to pick this up, and so excited to find out the ending.
I cannot wait to pass this book on to others especially others who spy fiction is not their thing. I really hope I help persuade others to pick up something out of their comfort zone. I cannot wait to see more from asia mackay!
