Central character Lex is a mum and secret agent. Pages flow of daring missions versus daunting challenges of other nursery mums and the challenges of a two year old.
The writing is amazing and just flows beautifully, your always rooting for Lex as she goes up against criminal , hackers and nursery teachers all in an amusing way.
All other characters are written well and you can clearly imagine the nuances and the environments written by the author Asia Mackay. Each one with their own smaller story to tell. While it has a theme of powerful women it’s not driven done your throat that it feels overly done to make a point. I’m hoping this is the first in a series and cannot way to catch up on the further tales of Lex.
