A website has been created to connect criminals and snakey security operatives which has led to agents deaths, secrets are being leaked and missions are failing. Lex is trying to save China's minister with the help of the underground team as well as being a wife and mother.

It quickly kicks off with Lex in a car chase and a phone call from her husband asking to pick up the dry cleaning, not long after she's picking her daughter up from nursery. This quickly sets a fast paced tone.

The plot was well developed and it was very topical. It was interesting to read from a mums point of veiw as it isn't anything I've read before and it touched upon how mum's worry about everything. It becomes obvious the weightload of being a spy and mother is taking its toll on Lex and it made me realise how much mum's actually do.

I didn't like the use of peppa pig characters as code names, I couldn't take it seriously at all and I felt like there could have been more action. Other than that it is a fast paced contemporary novel which focuses on a strong female character and touches upon some strong feminist points, it has a great balance of Lex's mother life and secret spy life which I was worried about.
