I didn’t realise this book was in a series but I don’t think it mattered a whole lot. I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed how it was showing both sides of Lex’s life, her life as a loving mother and her life as a secret agent. I found the opening chapter of this book quite funny, Lex is out on a dangerous mission and whilst their van is being rammed her husband calls and asks her to pick up his dry cleaning. It added humour to the situation which I thought was quite good. Without risking any spoilers, I really enjoyed the plot and the ending. I can’t wait to read more of her books. It's not the usual book I would pick, but i'm glad I did! The cover is also very eye-catching and intriguing.
