This novel gripped me from the start jumping straight into the action of Lex’s job. The way the author has mingled the characters job and personal life into one had tenants of the film Mr and Mrs Smith for me but with the added juggling ball of a child.
I found this book to be a good mix of a thriller and humour in the everyday situations such as going to a parents evening.
The characters are likeable straight away and I think many could relate to Lex and the constant pressure a working mum faces.
In my opinion this is a great novel that made me want to read more as I felt the story had much more to give and could keep me reading for hours to find out what happened at the end and how she continued to juggle being a mum and a secret agent!
