After reading the first look I was so so excited to read The Nursery. From the start it offers a truly thrilling look into life as an undercover operative. The storyline was good - the only reason it has lost a star is because I guessed who the “snake” was about a quarter of the way in and was confused as to how an intelligent and fierce woman like Lex hadn’t worked it out prior to when she did. I loved the element of conflict for Lex between being a good mother and being good at her job. The writing style was good and easy to follow. At certain points however I did get a little confused about who everyone was and the part they were playing, I had to reread a couple of chapters so my brain had time to catch up. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed this book and will be recommending it!
