This is story about a working mother. Alexis Tyler works for the secret service as a secret agent. She has an extremely stressful full on job and a husband that is not aware of the details of her job. She is also the mother of a young daughter. The book starts with Alexis on a car chase and ends with dry cleaning! The book moves from being a thriller to a laugh out loud story of a frazzled mummy from page to page. I really enjoyed this book. A thrilling roller coaster action story peppered with genuine moments if normal family life. I particularly liked the overriding feminist feel if the book. The female characters are powerful, intelligent and caring in equal measure. They are also realistically flawed and therefore very believable. Parts of the book were laugh out loud which mixed in with all the tension and drama made this an individual and original read. I really enjoyed it!
