The style of writing drew me in from the beginning, grabbing my interest and making me want to read more.

The reader needs to concentrate as there is a lot to learn - code names, different teams, who's on whose side but this all adds to the brilliance of the book. However, it's not off putting, and makes the book all the more invigorating from the start.

I loved the chapter about 'mummy guilt' - it really rang true with me, and as it was only the second chapter in it made me love the book right from the start.

The story is funny and has subtle coincidences. It made me wonder how much of the tactics and procedures used in the story are used by the agencies in real life.

The book has lots of everyday issues that the reader can relate to but with the added twist of complete confidentiality and secrets of the characters.

With a brilliant twist, I held my breath for the last 50 pages.
