I am not the sort of person who can’t be honest and what’s the point in reviewing if I’m always positive. That makes it seem like I’m trying to please someone. And I’m not. I read for me.
I’m not going to sit here and knock this book either. We just weren’t meant to be. The writing style wasn’t bad it just didn’t work for me. I didn’t grow attached to anyone I just felt them to be unrelatable again that’s on me. There is nothing objectively bad about this book, saying so would be a disservice to the novel and the author. This is not a bad book.
Sometimes a book and reader don’t fit and this was an absolutely classic case of that.
I always think it’s sad when you just don’t click with a book but it can’t be helped. Not every book is for everyone. Shame.
