I think this might be one of the best books I have read this year... in fact, maybe even in my life! I absolutely love the character of Alexis Tyler, secret agent and mother. She is a fiercely strong and independent woman, fighting for her country during the school day and trying to make it back in time to pick her two-year-old daughter up from nursery. She works for an underground branch of the Secret Services and has to fight to keep her team alive when it turns out that they are compromised due to a Snake trying to sell information about the Chinese minister's schedule whilst in the UK to a terrorist group that wants her dead. I loved following Lex through this addictive novel full of twist, turns and espionage.
