How do you juggle being a mum to a daughter who is entering the terrible twos and holding down a job in a secretive agency tasked with safeguarding the nation’s security? Well Lexi Tyler has just this dilemma as she scurries back and forth to a playschool while trying to track down a cunning new threat that has a top-ranking Chinese diplomat in their sights. This is a pacy and funny thriller that will certainly keep you entertained. It gets a little confusing with the amount of different characters and their given nicknames (after the Peppa Pig series!). Despite this it fairly races along – even though the assassin is easy to identify towards the latter half of the book. I could see another book or two featuring Lexi Tyler and it is certainly a TV show in the making. Worth a read.
