As with the first in the series, I loved this book so much! Its got a little bit of everything: action, comedy, romance and an adorable little toddler to add a sparkle of glitter to the mix. The main character, Lex, is sparky and fierce, yet still relatable as a working mother. I love the concept, the characters and of course Lex's little daughter Gigi. I love that the character of Lex is such a product of the times, a strong independent woman wanting to raise her daughter to be happy and free in a world that still forces children into gender roles. In that way, the book combines a fun read with something that provokes thought and challenges societies expectations of a woman's role and that of societies children.
