Entertaining, Exciting and Enigmatic
The cover itself did not draw me into this book right away. The light colouring and soft feel radiating from it, a large contrast to the familiar dark art of the books I usually read. However, I am most definitely glad that I decided to take a step out of my comfort zone.
The first line, right off the bat, draws you in with such a shock as I was not expecting this story to have such a dark undertone. Immediately, I was hooked and began to read more. By doing so, I was introduced to the very curious, "one of a kind" character called Augusta Hope and let in to her past.
She is such a marvellous, enigmatic character and I would love to have the full copy of this book so I could learn so much more about her (as well as continue to story).
Readers of this book, I believe, will not be disappointed, even for a moment.
