A clever book where the author is playing her reader. It is extremely literary and already peppered with intriguing observations- the kind that make you stand back and wonder why you'd never thought about that before! I just wonder if this pace can be maintained for the length of the novel.
Regardless of the story- what a lovely cover- I would definitely have picked it up in a bookshop, just to see if it felt as good as it looked!
