The cover doesn't give away the secret of what is a funny and emotional tale well told. The characters are portrayed simply withhumour and honest; I felt tied to them, wanting to know how they fair. The juxtaposition between the lives of the narrators is stunning, you move, hear the new voice and still the concentration holds. The loss, the laughs and the love! I read 30 pages and laughed and almost cried. I am sure this book will drain me and be read in a day but I cannot wait. A humour and depth which takes me back to Behind the Scenes at the Museum. Joanna Glen has her own voice and it is one I think I will want to hear again and again.
