I can't decide whether I like or loathe this book. I wasn't taken by the short description, but read the first impression anyway. At times I liked how it was written, you could really get a sense of Augusta's character, but at other times it just felt like it was words for words sake. I like that the chapters alternate between Augusta and Parfait (her true other half, I presume....), but I think I'd need to read more before I decided whether I liked this book, or not.
