This book follows the family life of Augusta and her twin Julia, although the book is written from Augusta's point of view. Augusta is a really inquisitive child and enjoys words and likes reading the dictionary. It made me think how sad it is these days that a lot of children are not so inquisitive as they are introduced to technology and entertainment too young, which seems to switch of their inquisitiveness. It was interesting hearing more about Burundi, a country that I had only heard the name of. There is focus on a family living in Barundi too. I would be interested to read the rest of the book to see what happens.
