Really enjoying this first look. The characters are intriguing and leave you wanting to know more about them and their story. I like the juxtaposition between Britian and Burundi - how the writing easily flowed from one to the other paralleling it and mirroring the themes. I've long found the Hutu/Tutsi conflict baffling in that it was so bloody and so underreported so it's positive to see it brought into a work of fiction so people will become more aware. I'm keen to find out how these two characters lives will overlapand intertwine.
