This book sounds like it's trying to tap into fans of Eleanor Ophiliant, which is a good thing. The more books with heroes that sound like they are not neurotypical then the better understanding there will be. These characters see the world in a different way and gives us an alternative view as an audience.
The cover gives little away as to what the book is about or an audience but it is eye-catching.
