May I first say, the cover of this book is absolutely beautiful! It did start out a little bit slow for my liking though. I got about 60 pages in and really want too sure, but then it started to pique my interest and the story just built from there. This is a tale about Augusta and her very normal British family and about Parfait who comes from war torn Burundi and his journey and story. The story follows them through their triumphs and their tragedies. I can’t really say much more without giving the story away however, the tag line “You’re not lost. You’re just looking.” Is so apt for this book. I would highly recommend this book if you are looking for something a bit different however, don’t forget a box of tissues! I would have given five stars if it hadn’t taken so long for me to get into.
