I did really like this book. Augsta, the protagonist of the book is quirky and likeable and from the beginning, I was interested in and engaged with her character. The first half of the book doesn't give much away in terms of what is going to happen and it's very good at slowly revealing the ending. The use of language and words throughout the book is well done and does well to deepen Augusta's character. My only criticism is perhaps the last one hundred pages or so becomes a little boring as it drags out the closing part of the novel. The final events and the way in which things begin to fit together always feels a little contrived but the book was still enjoyable regardless especially as it can be a quick read
