I enjoyed this beautiful dual narrative by Joanna Glen. It was well written covering a vast array of themes including family, grief, love and ultimately hope.
The dual narrative follows Augusta, a young woman living a suburban life who is desperately seeking adventure and Parfait, a young man with big dreams that was born in war-torn Burundi.
As you can imagine it’s an emotional read following Botha attempts to seek their dreams in different ways and the multiple narratives really help to build a great story of contrast.
