4.5. The only reason that it isn’t a five is because I wish all of the chapters were about Augusta. The ones that weren’t I didn’t find as interesting however the story wouldn’t have had the same effect without them.

One of the best books that I’ve read this year. If you enjoyed Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine then you’ll love this. Augusta is a completely lovable character. She’s smart, strange and captivating. This will make you laugh out loud and cry. A wonderful book and definitely one that I would recommend. It also deals with important subjects such as disability, race, death and acceptance in a really emotional and wonderful way. I will most definitely be looking out for any future books written by this author.
