After reading Sofia Khan is NOT obliged, I could not stop raving about it everywhere. The witty yet strongly independent and iron willed Sofia is bound to steal the reader's heart and as I saw the cover of The other Half of Happiness, I was joyous to find out that nothing with respect to Sofia's character has changed. Her relationship has definitely proceeded further, yet she is still her funny self, which is a relief to find out. The vibrant colors of the title page will definitely draw readers towards the book, especially those who haven't read the first book. Can't wait for a weekend long fits of laughter with Sofia Khan again because it was that one character which resonated with the hues of the people I interact with on a daily basis. Lastly, I love the reference Ayisha Malik makes about how one should never attach oneself to another person's purpose. As after the spontaneity dies down, you realize the irrational decision you might have made in the heat of the moment and who knows you might regret it later on...
