How do I begin to tell you my thoughts on this snippet on a book that I have been anticipating for a LONG time?? Simple, I can't. I've read the first book following Sofia Khan's insane yet totally relatable life and it's currently 5am, I just reread it which led me to scour the internet for the long awaited sequel! The author's tone is so familiar, and once again, relatable, as a British Pakistani Muslim, I found myself relating to all the little jokes and comments she makes. The first impression of the sequel didn't disappoint and has me wanting to read more! The book cover is eye catching and fun, it will definitely attract intrigued eyes in a bookshop. The first impression alone is enough to hook me in and I am so excited to get my hands on the actual book! I have one last thing to say, Ayisha Malik if you're reading this somehow, you're a bloody legend and thank you for showing the world a narrative on us 'Stanis that doesn't involve honour killings and terrorism, cheers!!!
