We follow the story of a sassy but lovable muslim, Sofia Khan, who went to pakistan to get married to her irish husband Conall who reverted to Islam. This book was enjoyable and brings awareness about how people react to people marrying from different cultures from their own such as the racism, stereotypes and the prejudices that people hold. Sofia is a smart and hilarious feminist who you can not help but to admire, although she is aware of how people will react to her marriage she does not hesitate to call them out for it. However, she did not inform her mother of their marriage and Conall appears to have a secret? i highly recommend this book as you will find yourself laughing out loud to her witty personality, i find it empowering how she makes her own decisions even if she knows she may get a hard time for it but she stands by it. Her relationship with Conall is sweet and humourous, you can feel the love they hold for eachother and i look foward to getting to know more about them.Thank you Ayisha for this wonderful book!
