When I saw this book I wasn't sure what to expect of it. The cover is simple, light and airy. It made me feel this book would be an easy read and not too controversial (for me)
Upon reading, I was met with so many emotions, shock and happiness at a couple both from respective backgrounds finding love in a place maybe they didn't think they would find it themselves. I was then catapulted into feeling like crying my eyes out because of the pain and heartbreak that was unleashed (I won't give any spoilers)
It was very alike to Bridget Jones, the love triangle, the laughter and silliness, clumsy characters and the heart stopping moments you are left gripping to the pages of the book wishing for the final outcome to be a happy one.
I really enjoyed this book a lot more than I thought I would and I am so glad I read it.
