I thought this book was great! I'm so glad this book was written as a sequel to the book Sofia Khan is not Obliged. I couldn't put the first book down. As a British born, hijab wearing Muslim from a Pakistani heritage, the story and character was so apt. So I just needed to know what was going to happen next and where life would take Sofia. The stories and lives are based on the life of the new generation. It puts into perspective the fact that we are normal people to who are trying to live our lives the best way possible. We have the same issues and problems and concerns as others - just because we are a different colour or choose to dress different or pray different or live different does not make us different.
