A little clumsily written in places but an interesting premise. Kate previously worked in the police, recognising faces but has lost this ability following a head injury. She has met Rob since the injury and so far he seems too good to be true. Rob is a logical thinker, although he has a superstitious fear of doppelgangers and Kate has now noticed an imperceptible change in him. So far the narrative seems a bit clunky and obvious but there is definite potential.
