I was first attracted to this book as it presents itself as a typical psychological thriller, which is just my cup of tea! I’ve read so many thrillers that the plots and ‘twists’ tend to become a bit predictable, but this was one of the books which I really could not have guessed the ending. Every time i thought I had guessed what was going to happen, it changed!
I don’t want to say too much as I don’t want to give it away. But the scenario of the ending is something that I have not come across in any other common thrillers, which was interesting. Pacing is good, and the smaller stories surrounding other characters were enjoyable. My only criticism was that I found it hard to relate, and sympathise, with the main character, Kate. However, all in all I really enjoyed it, and would definitely recommend if you want a psychological thriller that’s not the norm!!
