The Other You tells the story of Kate, a young woman with an extraordinary gift for remembering and recognising faces, as she recovers from a traumatic brain injury. During her time in hospital she met and began a relationship with Rob, an entrepreneur who is making waves in wearable technology.
Kate finds out that Rob is deeply disturbed at the idea of meeting his doppelgänger and how he fears he could one day take over his life. As Kate recovers it seems that this may not be such a crazy idea afterall!
I enjoyed reading this book but felt that it had a poor set up. Alarm bells began ringing at the very start when the beginnings of Kate and Robs relationship is described. The story is interesting enough but the course is reasonably predictable at times.
