In all honesty I really did not like this book. The plot is extremely overworked but I thought I would give it the benefit of the doubt and I’m really sorry I did.
My first issue in this book is the lack of character diversity. As well as a large range of characters at all. I just felt like I was stuck inside Katie’s head the entire time and let me tell you it was a very depressing place to be. She was just constantly asking herself a series of convoluted questions the whole time while sitting idle.
This 500 page book should have been like 100 pages because it was so dragged out I am sure time stopped while I was reading it. Usually I have issues with not finishing a book, however you better believe I skip read the whole ending of the book. For which I am extremely happy i did because the whole build up was completely wasted on the ending.
Overall I do not recommend this book if you want to keep your brain cells.
