There are so many intriguing factors - how did Kate's accident happen? Why did Rob become so invested so fast? Why is Rob so afraid of his doppelganger? What about him made Kate feel like Rob wasn't himself? Why does Rob treat Kate almost like he's studying her e.g. putting on the head cap that measures brain activity? These are all questions that are burning right now.
Having only read the first look of this book, I would definitely be interested in buying a hard copy. It is the exact type of book that I have found myself gravitating towards recently, and it seems like it would be a read that I would not be able to put down.
The characters feel so tangible and even the idea of a super-recogniser who never forgets a face is very interesting.
